To become learning Spanish most effective is better to live with a Guatemalan family,

is a very important part of the educational experience. This provides students with opportunities to practice their language skills and learn more about the people, culture and life in Guatemala. This is also a very economical way to get a totally natural experience.

Our family is always sharing with other relatives and friends. That is to say you are going to adapt us perfectly. We are blessed with a large and beautiful house and are always willing to receive foreign guests.

I have two daughters, Helga who has a girl named Sofia and at this time they are traveling and Astrid who is married to Eliezer and are responsible for directing the school. In the same house my younger brother Eduardo lives with his wife Cyndi and have a girl named Andreita. My mother whom the students call ‘Mamá Chaito’. And I’m Gladis, Director, I am currently out of the country.

Our school places great on the positive experiences of staying with a family in Xela. So we have a very careful selection of suitable families and homes. The houses are clean, have hot water and all are very close to the school and also from Central Park. Families provide three nutritious meals a day, seven days a week. It is easy to accommodate vegetarians and other dietary specifications.
